Wilhelmshaven and the surrounding area boast a wide range of leisure activities. What can be better when living on the coast than spending a sunny day on the beach or taking a walk out into the Wattenmeer. The magical East Frisian islands are just a short ferry trip away. For a great day out in the summer, go to one of the local lakes or the outdoor swimming pool.

The countryside is also a very inviting place for a long cycle tour or a canoe trip on the Ems-Jade canal. And there are many sporting facilities available in the surrounding area as well, e.g. the climbing forest, crazy golf, swin-golf, soccer hall, surfing, water skiing, games barn, swimming pools etc., etc.
