“Sea! Live! Adventure!” is the motto of the Wilhelmshaven aquarium located on the Helgolandkai – where visitors enjoy a fascinating view of the oceans and underwater habitats around the world.
See the seals and schools of sharks in the large aquariums, and another 250 different species of animals; marvel at the huge diversity of fauna in the North Sea; see the inhabitants of the rainforests and coral reefs; and be amazed by the Antarctic fishes with “antifreeze” in their blood.
The aquarium also offers fun, games and adventure in the associated “children’s fun palace”, plus a café and restaurant in the most beautiful building located on Wilhelmshaven’s outer dyke.
